Yesterday when I walked to the post office I took the camera with me and looked at the beautiful blue crispy blue sky of Perth and saw these amazing Bougainvillea overgrowing the footpath.
Yes, my parents had a lot of cherry trees around the farm when I was a little girl. Love cherries! Unfortunately the Dutch government made all small farmers stop farming so only the huge farm factories still excist... my father was a small farmer, now he is 74 years old and enjoying his horses, all what's left of farming days.
Nothing can compare to the original shapes of flora and fauna. Life is beautiful and while wandering around I regularly have a lucky find of some real pretty things. I used to take them home but nowadays I take my digital camera with me and leave them in place. They are my inspiration!

this is a lovely variety of Bougainvillea! It looks like cherry blossoms from afar. Though I actually haven't seen one. lol
this shot makes me want to sit underneath this plant and savor the moments.
Unfortunately the Bougainvillea doesn't smell like cherry blossom :) but I admit, this is a beautiful variety!

oh, now.. I'm starting to envy you. lol
