Gum leaf

 A beautiful gum leaf in all kind of autumn colours however it's spring... 

Wattle flowers

I photographed these wattle flowers at Point Resolution Reserve in Dalkeith thinking it was a normal wattle. But trying to find the official name I can't find any wattle with the same leaves as this one... so I have no idea about this variety.

Acacia Glaucoptera (Wattle)

 

This yellow wattle flower growing on a stick on top of the leaves is a funny character, the first two are made in Kings Park and the other two at Scotch College oval.

Motorbike frog

 This giant motorbike frog was hiding in a big plant pot which I was moving, he was quite a nice guy

Fish

 There were quite a few dead fish on the river banks in Peppermint Grove, mostly blowfish, but this one I didn't recognise. 

Bracket fungi

Bracket fungi on a brand new cut of a tree at Karrakatta graveyard.

 It has been raining for weeks in Western Australia, hence the bracket fungi is out there on the rotten wood along the bush paths. This one had a weird kind of stuff like if it was pored over, from far I thought termites were creating a nest there, but closer up it looked different. 

Silver eye bird - Zosterops lateralis

 Our kitten caught this Silver eye bird, he was very gentle with it, nonetheless I had to rescue it of course. It was beautiful and I was very happy to see he seemed to be alright besides a little bit of blood on his neck.

They all pop up after the showers, it's a wet winter in Perth. 

Baby spiders

 Saw something moving from the corner of my eye when passing the succulent in my garden who is flowering for the first time. A nest of tiny baby spiders are getting ready for the big world. Couldn't figure out what type it is.
