Hoover flies

One weekend infestation of hoover flies, they were all over the garden in the weekend of 25 October 2020, here a few photos of them on the elderberry flowers.

Rainbow Lorikeets

Rainbow Lorikeets are an introduced species in Western Australia and have driven away the native ringnecks.
Can you count all 9 of them? Waiting their turn for a bath in our fountain.
