Shells

The rocks at Trigg where full of little shells, they where a level higher than the barnacles, in the dry area.

Drop

I was taking a photo of this barnacle at Trigg when my eye fell on the water drop behind it. It was set like a gem stone in the grubby rock wall and when enlarging the photo I discovered something inside the drop of salty seawater... how beautiful is nature, that a drop of water can hang on a rock like this!

Bugs

I saw something moving on my roses and when I looked closer there was a whole bunch of little bugs, infants presumably, hiding under the leaves. Look how pretty they are with a white edge around their body and long yellow feelers with black tips. A nice print on their flat backs.

Crab

As I wasn't wearing my glasses I only discovered at home this wasn't one of the barnacles but a crab hiding in one of the holes of the rock.

Barnacles

Yesterday we were at Trig beach and I was fascinated by the barnacles on the sharp rocks there. They are beautiful with their little doors shut tightly if you look close up. Even the empty ones contain a lot of treasures. Some are clustering together while others live a single lifestyle.

Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea flowering in my garden.

Hibiscus

This special variety of Hibiscus is flowering in my garden, so beautiful, it's like a mini chandelier.

Triangle Palm

I only discovered it yesterday, one of our Triangle Palm trees is blooming! We have two of them in the garden and only one has developed this extra branch. I am looking forward to see the flowers and the fruits on this specimen.
