 Such a tiny bird with a huge ego, especially in spring when they nest, this one likes to attach my dog... On Scotch College oval

 It's the time of year (end of winter) that the bright red flowers are coming out on the coral trees at Karrakatta Graveyard before the leaves come.

Galah bite marks on tree

This tree on our local sports oval has two hollows where galah's have set up their nests on the north side. On the south side they have started biting off layers of bark in previous years. This year I noticed all the scratches on one layer... not sure what it means.
