This afternoon I was pruning a bush in the back of the garden when suddenly I had to scream from a stinging pain in my bottom lip and brushed off a wasp who clung to my finger to give me another sting. I managed to suck out the sting with my insect bite extractor and that eased the pain. But of course I got my camera out to see the culprit who caused the pain and found this little nest being build by a few mean looking wasps...
It looks like they are breeding a whole colony with tiny white eggs in the nest, not sure if I like them in my garden. These aren't friendly wasps, and not the
European paper wasps like the one I had on camera a few monhts ago. I couldn't find if it is a local wasp or not, do you know?
