Baby swans on the Swan River near Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club a few weeks back.

Passion fruit leaves

I first thought this curly thing on the leave was part of the leave but it appeared to just hooked on still searching for a better spot.

Caterpillar damage

A few leaves of the lilies in my backyard are having damage, I think it's a caterpillar? Or can it by snails? At least they know what's the nice part as they leave the veins...

Bees

The bees loved the poppies too, especially the powdery yellow nectar!

Poppies

These poppies where blooming at Araluen Botanical Park near the waterfall. I love the bright colours and the delicate leaves.

Ferns

I couldn't stop watching these fresh new fern leaves, all rolled up in slimey hair balls to be unrolled when the time comes. How ingenious this system is.

Hairy flower

This colorful hairy flower you can also find somewhere in the huge Kings Park botanical gardens.

Wildflowers

This bush in Kings Park had beautiful big flowers, kind of grevillea or banksia type. Can't find the name of it, but as you see every flowers looks different, I suppose there are male and female flowers.

Kangaroo paw

Also in Kings Park, the green/black kangaroo paw, so beautiful, you almost want to pet it.

Everlastings

We went to Kings Park on Sunday with my rellies from Victoria and saw heaps of flowers and although the wildflower show ended there were still enough patches of Everlastings around. The papery pink and white flowers are making me feel happy.

Tulip hearts

Sunday I was in Araluen Botanic Park where there were still heaps of tulips blooming and I had to take a few pictures of the hearts of the tulips as they are so colorful, they could be lampshades with the sun shining in.
