My winter tomatoes

When I had planted my rosemary cuttings in a long pot within a few days three tomato plants sprouted in between them, but as it's winter here I didn't believe they would survive but I let them. But apparently they like the cool weather as they develop nice fruits, as the caterpillars also discovered... I hoped they were hibernating... as the snails, they eat all my new plants, like I have only one rhubarb left... That's when I hate them! I collected several snails stuck together in making more snails into the green bin yesterday!

Mushrooms

Also from the old box, somewhere in the early 2000's in a forest in Holland during one of our walks were very tiny mushrooms growing under the trees.

These are Scottisch Highland Cows which were introduced to Dutch parks to keep the diversity in grasses and other fauna. This is in National Park De Hoge Veluwe in 2002 during a walk.

Spring in Europe

I was scanning some old photos and came across this one from 2002 when we made a trip to the Dolemites during early spring. This was on the campsite in the south of Germany.

Giant Praying Mantis

This huge Praying Mantis fell from my neck after I've prune the lemon tree, I don't know who was scared most, him or me... it was as big as my hand!
